Guide: Keeping your account safe!

On Swapitshop, it is important to keep your account safe. This is because your account has all of your personal details such as email, date of birth and address. You also don't want some one else spending your Swapits! Read below to find out how you can keep this data safe.

Firstly, make sure you have a Strong password. A strong password contains capitals, lower case letters, and also numbers! A few examples of this could be, if your name was 'Tom', your house number was 72, and the last 2 digits of your member number was 63, your password could be 'Tom7263 or 72Tom63. This is just an example of a strong password, and its one you would remember as you see them numbers every day.

Another thing to remember, is never tell your password to ANYONE. Not even your best friend or family. If you get an email saying 'Swapitshop' needs your password for something, ignore it. This is not true, it will be a scam. Swapitshop will NEVER ask for your password in an email, they can already access your account if they needed to, so would not need your pass.

Never write your password down, it is easy for someone to find or get hold of!

If you lose your password, use the 'Forgot your password' form on the Swapitshop login page. If you are still unable to retrieve your account, send an email to Swapitshop, at info@swapitshop.com and they will do their best to help.
