Guide: Key tips to winning an auction!

Key tips to winning an auction! - You may see some swappers who are ALWAYS Winning. How do they do it? Want to know how to have some bidding success? Read below to find out more!

Key tips:
1) If you're watching something that is ending soon, think to yourself, what would be the MOST you are willing to pay for it? What is your maximum which you will not go past.. Bidding can be addictive and you will always want to outbid the other swapper, but decide in your head before you bid, the most you will pay, and then don't go past it. If someone else bids higher, leave the auction and wait for the next one to end. There is no point paying more than you feel happy paying just to win that particular item!

2) Place your bid 5 seconds or less to the end. That way people wont have enough time to place a higher bid if they havn't already. This gives you a higher chance of winning the auction.

3) Dont put in an even bid of something like '10000' or '3000' or '22000'. Make it a random number, such as 10,531 or 2918 or even 21,2121 - It's not many more swapits, but if someone else places the same bid as you before you see it, and there's not enough time to outbid them, then you will loose the auction, It is very rare someone will match an identical bid if you use all odd/random numbers! There is nothing worse than putting in '1000' and then see someone else already bid 1000 whilst you were typing it in, and then it is to late to overbid them. So don't risk it!

4) Keep refreshing! - Keep refreshing up to the very last 10 Seconds! Then watch it and bid within the last few seconds. You need to keep it updated to see if someone else has put in a higher bid!

5) If the item has a buy it now which is slightly less than what the auction is on, then do a buy it now if you are happy with the price. Don't risk bidding if there is a chance someone else might do buy it now and end the auction.

6) Do a search on Swapitshop before you do a buy it now or bid. There might be a similiar or identical item which is for a cheaper price! This isn't really a key tip to winning an auction, however it will save you some swapits!

Good luck, and hopefully this guide will help you when bidding on Swapitshop!
